Dr.
Pamela J. Pine talks about some of the causes of childhood trauma and the
understandable anger that often follows it. She underscores some of the ways
that that anger can present itself in school, work, and life. She then
discusses various means by which to address that anger that can derail one's
life and work but also spur toward greater heights. Emphasis will be put on
various strategies and steps that businesses can put in place to help create
happy employees and better functioning organizations with higher productivity
and bottom lines.

Pamela J. Pine, PhD, MPH, has dedicated her career to international health, development, and communication, supporting underserved communities worldwide. For more than two decades, she has specialized in preventing and mitigating child sexual abuse (CSA) and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) through advocacy, education, and training. Dr. Pine is the Founder of Stop the Silence® – Stop Child Sexual Abuse and currently serves as Director of Stop the Silence® – a Department of the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT). A professor, award-winning and best-selling author (including Stop the Silence® – Thriving After Child Sexual Abuse), and multimedia artist, she integrates creativity and scholarship to inspire awareness and action.
